Meet your guide – Niko
My name is Niko, and I was born into a fishing family on the beautiful coast of Istria. The sea has been a part of my life from the very beginning, shaping who I am and inspiring my love for nature and the outdoors.
Growing up surrounded by fishermen, boats, and the rhythm of the tides, I developed a deep respect for nature and a lifelong connection with the sea. Over the years, that connection turned into a passion for exploring the coastline and discovering the hidden places that make Rabac truly unique.
As a licensed guide, I've had the privilege of sharing these places with visitors from around the world. Time and again, I realized that the most memorable experiences happen away from the crowds, in quiet bays, beneath towering cliffs, and on the crystal-clear waters that reveal the true beauty of the Adriatic.
That is why I founded Calypso. Not simply to rent kayaks, but to offer a different way to experience Rabac—at your own pace, close to nature, and from a perspective that few people ever get to see. Whether you're gliding across the sea in a transparent kayak or exploring hidden corners of the coastline, my goal is to help you experience the Adriatic the way I have known it all my life.

We spent 3 hrs with Nico on the canoe, it was percect. All the gear was perfect, boat/snorkel. Nico brought some snacks and fruits. He told interesting things about Rabac and his present made the trip extra nice. We recommand this trip!!
